Mogadishu (HOL) – Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud received the credentials of the non-resident Ambassador of Algeria to Somalia H.E Mahi Boumediene during a Thursday ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Mogadishu, marking another step in Somalia’s efforts to strengthen international partnership.
In his remarks, President Mohamud emphasized Somalia’s dedication to enhancing diplomatic, economic, development, and security cooperation with nations worldwide. He highlighted the significance of building stronger ties to promote mutual growth across various sectors.
The newly appointed ambassador expressed gratitude for the warm reception and reiterated his commitment to strengthening bilateral relations while pledging to collaborate closely with Somalia on diplomacy, trade, security, and cultural exchange initiatives.
