Attaf Meets Azerbaijani Counterpart at OIC Summit to Address Regional Crises and Economic Collaboration

Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held a bilateral meeting on Sunday in Istanbul, Turkey, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Jeyhun Bayramov, on the sidelines of the 51st session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

The meeting provided an opportunity to review the current situation in the regional neighborhood of the Republic of Azerbaijan amid the continued aggression against Iran and to examine joint efforts aimed at further boosting Algerian-Azerbaijani relations, in anticipation of upcoming bilateral events, notably through the creation of an institutional mechanism to develop economic cooperation between the two countries.
